Conditions for obtaining a residence permit in Turkey in 2024

Basic documents required for residence permit application

1. Completed application form.
2. Passport or a replacement document whose validity exceeds the validity of the requested residence permit by at least 60 days.
3. Police certificate of no criminal record.
4. A document proving the housing conditions in Turkey, e.g. a property lease agreement or a certificate of home ownership.
5. Health insurance covering the entire period of stay in Turkey.
6. A document proving that you have the financial means to stay in Turkey for the requested period of stay.
7. Suitable photographs - in colour, on a light background, clear and current, with the applicant's face occupying 70-80% of the picture area.
